In another first aimed at assisting grass roots harness racing participants Ian and Judi Slater from Goodtime Lodge today announced the introduction of what is a unique and innovative race series involving three Australian States over seven days

The Allamerican Ingot Series comprises at least four events for C0 pacers each raced over a distance as close as possible to 1600 metres at the following tracks

Shepparton   16th September (May run two heats if sufficient nominations)

Launceston   18th September

Terang            20th September

Port Pirie       23th September

Unfortunately owners in both NSW and Qld will not be able to participate in this series as the efforts by Goodtime Lodge to include both States were unsuccessful

The winning owner(s) of each event will receive a free service (semen transport) to ALLAMERICAN INGOT valued at $990 including GST provided by Ian and Judi Slater the proprietors of Goodtime Lodge, Colac, Victoria and owner Ross Torre

The Allamerican Ingot Series winner will decided by the horse with the fastest mile rate – if a tie the fastest last 800 metres will determine the winner – if still tied the horse with the highest saddlecloth number will be declared the winner

The lucky winning owner(s) will receive a one gram minted pure gold ingot valued at approximately $750 (depending on gold price) courtesy of Goodtime Lodge

In announcing this new initiative Ian Slater said that he and wife Judi had been overwhelmed by the positive response from all sections of the industry to their and Ross Torre’s efforts to breath new life into the breeding industry

He also expressed appreciation to those Club and State administrators who agreed to be involved in the series for their cooperation

Allamerican Ingot’s full story can be read by clicking here

He will stand his first Victorian season at the massively discounted price of $990 including GST
