2Saturday night’s City of Melton Plate has attracted a star studded field but it could very well be the unearthing of Lance Justice’s next gun pacer.

Love Ina Chevy might only be early into his career but he is certainly progressing in the right direction. A former Kiwi he has many similarities to a couple of Justice’s former Champions in Sokyola and Smoken Up.

Like that awesome duo Justice acquired him from New Zealand after a handful of starts and has quickly set about sending him through his classes.

Justice is under no illusions that he has a long way to go to match those two greats but he predicts he will be a topliner.

“He is a top class horse in the making. I’m not saying he is as good as them yet but he certainly has the credentials to be one of those horses.”

He has won three of his four Australian starts and although beaten at Cranbourne last start Justice said he had an excuse there and he can bounce back Saturday night.

“He had an abscess after his last win and missed some work before his run last start but his run was good.”

It’s a really good field and he will need some luck but he will be right amongst it and he is certainly not the worst horse in the race”

It shapes up as a cracking race with a stack of chances and will be run at 8.02pm Saturday Night.
